FORD FE TWO PIECE LOW MOUNT GEN TO ALT CONVERSION KIT

Ford FE two piece low mount gen to alt conversion kit. Allows you to mount an alternator on FE engines that DO NOT have the tapped hole on the face of the block to mount an alternator. Ford didn’t add this tapped hole until sometime in late 1962 or 1963. I have added a photo of the hole in question. If you have this tapped hole then this is NOT the kit you need. This kit is designed to clear an 8″ harmonic balancer. It includes a special bracket that mounts in the original hole that the generator mounting bracket used.
